HK Committed to Enhancing Co-ordination with PRD

Hong Kong is committed to enhancing co-ordination in the development of ports and logistics with the Pearl River Delta (PRD) of the Chinese mainland and promoting complementary development and prosperity, a Hong Kong official said Wednesday.

"In doing so, we will also maintain Hong Kong's status as an international shipping center and logistic hub and continue to respect market forces," Secretary for Economic Development and Labor Stephen Ip told the Legislative Council. ......
