A scheme for further private sector involvement in the Port of Callao, Peru's leading port, will not be available until September at the earliest, Silvio de Vega, an official with the country's transport and communications ministry (MTC) told BNamericas. "The scheme for private participation for Port of Callao is not yet defined. We have to define whether all the quays [will be delivered] to the private sector or if we will reserve some for a state company. We are looking for the best alternative for the country," he said ......
