The controversial Sh1.5 billion Kenya Ports Authority tenders for cranes that were cancelled over claims of manipulation by Cabinet ministers are to be opened today.
The permanent secretary for Ethics and Governance, Mr John Githongo, cancelled the tendering, saying it was flawed, and recommended fresh bidding.
A KPA official told the
Nation that new bidding would be done this morning. "We're going through the procurement process afresh as directed by the Government," he said
