MUMBAI, APRIL 8: Port Authority of Singapore (PSA) has shown keen interest in developing the offshore container terminal of the Mumbai Port Trust (MPT).
Incidentally, this move comes at a time when none of the five bidders have submitted their financial bids for the said container terminal.
MPT had short-listed P&O Ports, Evergreen Marine Corp, CSX World Terminals Ltd, Dubai Ports Authority and Larsen and Toubro for building a Rs 1,000 crore off-shore container terminal having a capacity to handle 0.8 million TEUs with two berths under phase I of the project
