The Histadrut Labor Federation announced on Monday that it has made significant progress in the negotiations with the Ministry of Finance. Union representative claimed that Minister of Finance Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to the demands of the Histadrut Chairman Amir Peretz to provide financial securities guaranteeing the longshoremen's employment and pension benefits in exchange for the halt in the ports strike. A Histadrut team will evaluate the collaterals provided by the government
