Gwadar port to start by March 2005

KARACHI: Gwadar Port - one of the biggest mega projects of the country - will commence operations by March 2005, following the completion of three jetties at the harbour.

Chairman, Gwadar Port Authority (GPA), Rear Admiral (Retd) Sarfaraz Khan told The News on Wednesday that the first phase of the construction of the Gwadar Port - with a funding of $298 million - would be completed by March next year ......
