On Tuesday, government plans to the restructure the shipbuilding sector saw the creation of Stocznie Polskie (Polish Shipyards), a new entity borne of the Nowa Szczecin Shipyard (SSN) and the Gdynia Shipyard in a consolidating move to be conducted under the auspices of the Industrial Development Agency (ARP).
The first step in the process of consolidation came with the State Treasury reaching an agreement with the Gdynia Shipyard to increase the new company's capital by zl.80 million
