New ship repair facilities will lead to oversupply

Dubai : The Gulf is heading towards a major oversupply of ship repair facilities with new drydocks increasing capacity by 310 per cent over the next seven years, warns an industry expert.

Six new ship building and repair yards will be built in the Arabian Gulf and the west coast of India over the next five to six years with additional docks being built in the current yards ......
