Liner shipping operators are predicting a challenging year ahead on an anticipated slowdown in China and an overcapacity in deliveries of new and bigger vessels in the coming months.

Industry players say the lower-than-anticipated exports from Malaysia and the noticeable deceleration in China in the fourth quarter have caused ocean freight to ease by between 10% and 20% ......
