The day-to-day running of Bahrain's port facilities will not be affected by an ongoing parliamentary stalemate over their privatisation, a spokesman for port operators APM Terminals told Bahrain Tribune yesterday.
Earlier this week Bahrain's parliament was halted in mid-session after a row erupted following a vote in which MPs voted 18-17 against adopting the Royal Decree which handed control of Mina Salman Port and its as yet unopened replacement Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Port to the private firm
