Companies bidding for Howard megaport concession down to 2 - Panama

Two companies are currently competing for a 20-year, US$600mn BOT concession for Panama's so-called megaport project near former US air force base Howard, a Panama government official told BNamericas.

Of the four firms that prequalified for the bidding on the concession - Cosco Pacific, APM Terminal, PSA Singapore and MTC Marine Terminal - only MTC and Cosco Pacific are still competing for the terminal construction contract, said the official ......
