Kota Kinabalu: The State Government will continue efforts to turn Sapangar Bay Container Port, currently still under construction, into the hub for the Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines-East Asian Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA).
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman, in announcing this, said the State Government and the people of Sabah are enthusiastically waiting for the completion of this new container port costing RM400million, which is expected to begin operations next month
