Plan for five ports to go under councils' control

The control of five of the country's ports is to be transferred to their local authorities, under plans being introduced by Transport Minister Paschal Donohoe.
The ports of Dun Laoghaire, Drogheda, Galway, New Ross and Wicklow may now come under council control, under the plans being brought to Cabinet.
