The fund's European Infrastructure Fund 1 Arcus Infrastructure Partners made an offer for the acquisition of this equity share capital not already own of British ports group Forth Ports, which currently holds 22.8%. The offer of 1,630 pence in cash per share plus a dividend of 20 pence for the year 2010 annual, for a total of 745 million pounds.
If the proposed takeover proposals advanced earlier by Arcus with other consortium partners Northstream, whose value was up to 640 million pounds, were not completed successfully for the difficulty of making an assessment of the actual value of the UK ( 's March 8 , 'sApril 29 and May 31 , 2010), this time Forth Ports has announced it has agreed the implementation of an activity of confirmatory due diligence on the basis of the indicative proposal made by Arcus.
