The Danish shipping group DFDS has signed an agreement with the Baltic Scandinavian Lines (BSL) to capture the daily service to passengers and rolling stock linking Paldiski (Estonia) with Kapellskär (Sweden) currently operated by the Estonian company. The two companies also agreed on the establishment of a joint venture for the shipping agency activities which will be owned by DFDS, with 67% and 33% by BSL.
The route is operated by the Paldiski-Kapellskär ro-pax Lisco Patria, which was rented by DFDS since last May. DFDS announced today that the service generates an annual turnover of around 100 million Danish kroner (13.4 million).
