The Port Authority of Le Havre announced the forthcoming enlargement of the terminal operator of the airport dedicated to the French ro-ro traffic, which is located in the north shore of Bougainville. Is there an extension of an area of 10 hectares to the west of the ro-ro terminals raising the total surface area of terminal to 80 acres.
This enhancement will be further enhanced with the completion of the project initiated by RORO MAX Grand Port Maritime du Havre in June ( of 16 June 2011).
Meanwhile, in the first eight months of 2011, the ro-ro terminal at the port of Le Havre has handled a traffic of 245,600 new cars and second hand, an increase of 10% compared to 223,240 vehicles in the corresponding period last year (in the first eight months of 2009 were 137,700 vehicles).
