On 19 April in the port of Bari the event of presentation of the JOYFUL project will hold



Next 19 April near the Terminal Cruises of the port of Bari, in the within of the Program of Communitarian Initiative E.T.C.P. Greece-Italy 2007/2013, will hold the event of presentation of the JOYFUL project (Generalized Automatic exchange of port Information Area)

Objective of JOYFUL is the development of a central node informative transboundary in order to allow a sure exchange and the sharing of the information between the ports of the Sea Adriatic and the Ionian Sea. In such context a problem that assumes detail importance is the consolidation and the development of the systems of information in order to exchange information on safety of the travellers. JOYFUL own is finalized to develop a series of services in order to supply information to the users of the port via web, computer and devices you furnish, in the optical to improve the fleeting management of the traffic and goods, optimizing the safety controls to crosses harbour and of boarding. All also for the greater safety and quality of life, not only of who daily, or occasionally, it interacts with the port, but also for who weevers and work outside it, in bordering zones.

The Harbour Authority of the East is front man of the project, to which they participate the Polytechnic of Bari, the Harbour Authority of Igoumenitsa and the Spanish institute of search Computer Technology Institute & Press "Diophantus". The event of the next week re-enters in a project of cooperation between the Harbour Authority of the East and the Harbour Authority of Igoumenitsa and is based on a total vision of the system adriatic port, to the aim of a strategic integration between the informative system of the Greek and Italian ports.
