The representation of the Italian ports to edition 2012 of the Transport Logistic China, the international fair of the logistics and the transports in course from the 5 on 7 June to Shanghai is thick. We are to Shanghai - continued Forcieri - in order to communicate the Chinese operators who that from Liguria one, with its 32 kilometers of docks, beyond six million square metres of superficial, 250,000 square metres of warehouses, etc is a competitive harbour system, that it can answer to every requirement, that has from its, regarding the ports of the Europe north, essential advantages as the 6-7 saving navigation days. This means less polluting costs and less emissions, online moreover with the European directives".

The importance of the Chinese market for the calabrian port of Gioia Tauro is emphasized by Saverio Spatafora, technical leader of the Harbour Authority in representation of the presidency to Shanghai. "For us China - it has observed - is a fundamental partner; about 70% of our market it arrives from here. We have come in order to introduce us to it does not know to us, to illustrate the great projects of widening and modernization.
