Introduced to Trieste a shared proposal of harbour railway layout

Today the Harbour Authority of Trieste has introduced a study of feasibility for the "Potenziamento and efficientamento of the railway activities in the Port of Trieste, pier V, pier YOU and pier VII". "The elaborated one - the president of the harbour agency has explained, Marina Monassi - is yields shared of an intense job carried out from the technicians of Harbour Authority, Alpe Adria, the harbour operators and is respectful and functional to a balanced development of the traffics. The successive passage to that today's one will be - besides the involvement of the Region Friuli Venice Julia and the other interested institutional subjects - forwards of the study of feasibility to Italian Railway Net (RFI)".

The study represents a railway system that better satisfies the current and future requirements which reported to the traffics and the enslavement of the nodal points presents in the Franco Nuovo Point (pier V, Pier YOU and Pier VII). They are analyzed, in fact, also the not accompanied arranged international traffics that they characterize the railway activity of the Franco Nuovo Point.
