Workshop on "the harmonization of the customs procedures in the East South Europe"



Tomorrow to Monk of Bavaria, in the within of the fair Transport Logistic (Entrance hall B 103), will hold a workshop on "the harmonization of the customs procedures in the East South organized Europe" from the Harbour Authority of the East and from the Region Apulia (councillorship to the Transports and Mobility) to which Frank Janssens, general manager of the Head office of Customs of the EU commission, and the representatives of 13 national agencies of coming Customs from Italy, Serbia, Albania, Croatia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Greece, Rumania, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Montenegro and Slovenia with the partner will participate of strategic project ADB - Multiplatform of Program SEE.

"The scope of the workshop - it has anticipated the president of the Harbour Authority of the East, Francesco Mariani - is that to place a line of departure towards the premise of a Paper position to address to the EU commission and the national governments in order to in general terms stimulate the process of harmonization of customs in the area of the Europe south-east, with particular reference to the matter of the electronic customs processes".

"The Harbour Authority of the East, in the respect of the tasks previewed from law 84/94 - it has explained Marian - intends to put into effect with the instrument of the transazionale workshop, that role of institutional coordination necessary to the life of the port and the system of the transport and the logistics in order to support the import and export of the apulian and international productions, creating to that vituous distance of necessary interistituzionale collaboration to the overcoming of the crisis using the existing instruments in innovative way".

The idea - it has specified the general secretary of the Harbour Authority, Mario Sommariva - is born as a result of the stimuli that daily the Harbour Authority of the East receives from the enterprises and from the various institutional interlocutors on the bottle necks whom they are superable with it I use of the technologies or the normative clarity: "for this - he has specified - we have invited the commissioner to Customs Algiras Semeta to participate to the work, so that the same Commission has knowledge of the real situation of the logistic flows regarding the disomogeneità of current the normative woven one".

The Harbour Authority of the East has emphasized that the workshop is the first deep experiment of this type using the communitarian ones, listening and working on the positions of the entire logistic chain, so as to formulate a document that photographers the tramutandosi truth in an effective support to the increase of the traffics in the area of the Europe south-east: door of income and escape towards the emergent Countries.
