Started the contest for the realization of according to extract of the rectilinear dock of the port of Ancona



In the edition on 17 December of the "Gazette of the European Union" the ban from 34,6 million euros of the Harbour Authority of Ancona is published, with expiration on May 29, 2015, for the construction of according to extract of the rectilinear dock of the Italian port.

The participation previews to increase the length of the rectilinear dock of 273 meters carrying it to a total of 616 meters. Once completed the work of deepening of the backdrops to -14 meters, currently in phase of planning, the dock will be able to make to moor the ships of the greater dimensions that currently scale the adriatic ports.

The contract previews the realization of 35.000 square metres of large squares behind of the new dock, allowing with the harbour enterprises to manage in more competitive way the development of the traffics. In the work the equipment of the dock with the ways of race for crane is included also portainer, the system of collection, treatment and digestion of rainwaters, towers lighting system lighthouse, line of water supplying and the useful accessories to the maneuvers of mooring, cargo and drainage.

"The start of the contest for the extension of the rectilinear dock - it has emphasized the commissioner of the Harbour Authority Rodolfo Giampieri - constitutes ulterior an important result for the agency in 2014. I want to remember that, without to count the participations of reduced entity more, this year the Harbour Authority has started the relative procedures on the reconversion of the historical port, besides this strategic ban for the development of the port of call in a moment in which the operators they are claiming with force the requirement of wider and efficient spaces for the development of the traffics. The jigsaw puzzle of infrastructures and the functions of the port is gradually composing: within the next year there will be the conditions in order to return dock 26 totally fit for use, that is the first feature of the rectilinear dock already realized, that it will meaningfully increase the competitiveness of the port of call. They are important investments that I wish impattino positively on the economy of all the territory, with fallen back in terms of occupation. I consider - it has concluded Giampieri - than the collaboration between agencies, institutions and imprenditoria is fundamental in order to support the economic development of the regional territory".
