In the first trimester of the 2017 traffic of the goods in the port of Barcelona it has marked a marked increment of +25.7%



In the first trimester of the 2017 port of Barcelona it has enlivened altogether 13,8 million tons of goods, with a marked increment of +25.7% regarding the first three months last year determined also from the traffic volumes that are diverted on Barcelona because of the repeated interruption of the activity on the docks of other Spanish harbour ports of call for protest against the reform of the introduced harbour job from the government of Madrid.

Particularly consisting it has turned out the increase of the traffic of the goods several that has been attested 9,3 million to tons (+31.0%), of which 6,7 million containerized tons of goods (+43.5%), volume that is realized with a handling of containers pairs to 662.280 teu (+34.2%), and 2,6 million conventional tons of goods (+7.0%). The traffic of automobiles has been pairs to 204 thousand vehicles, with a caused decrease of the -2,0% from the reduction of the traffic of cabotage with islands (- 6%) and to a lesser degree from the reduction of the imports (- 4%) and of exports (- 1%), while the vehicles in transfer have grown of +4%.

In decided increase altogether also the liquid bulk that has totaled 3,5 million tons (+23.4%), of which 2,9 million tons of hydrocarbons (+28.9%) and 603 thousand tons of other liquid bulk (+2.3%) between which 241 thousand tons of chemicals (+1.0%), 191 thousand tons of oils and fat people (+39.9%), 111 thousand tons of biocombustibili (- 30.0%), 26 thousand tons of natural and artificial fertilizers (+51.2%) and 25 thousand tons of other oil producing (- 18.4%).

Down, instead, the solid bulk that is piled to 898 thousand tons (- 6.5%), between which 305 thousand tons of seeds of soybean (+24.3%), 199 thousand tons of concrete and clinker in export (- 39.1%), 162 thousand tons of potash (+27.6%), 96 thousand tons of cereals and flours (+-26,7%), 46 thousand tons of ferrous scrap irons (+54.0%), 41 thousand tons of salt (+153.7%), 26 thousand tons of feeds and feeds (+41.6%), 18 thousand tons of not metallic minerals (- 49.0%) and 5 thousand tons of metallic residual minerals and (+42.9%).

In the field of the passengers the traffic has been of 396 thousand people, with a bending of the -6,0% on the first trimester of 2016, of which 225 thousand crocieristi (- fleeting 12.2%) and 171 thousand of ferries (+3.8%).

The liquid bulk is increased of +7.4% 1,3 million to tons, while the bulk sand banks is dropped of the -10,9% coming down to 409 thousand tons. In the section of the passengers the traffic is diminished of the -6,0% to 173 thousand unit, of which 99 thousand crocieristi (- fleeting 3.3%) and 74 thousand of the regular lines (- 9.2%).
