Approved of the Triennial Operating first floor of system of the six main ports of the Adriatic mean



Tuesday the Committee of management of the Authority of Harbour System of Mare Adriatico Centrale has approved of the Triennial Operations plan of system 2017-2019 in which, for the first time, the six main ports of the Adriatic mean (Pesaro, Falconara Marittima, Ancona, San Benedetto del Tronto, Pescara and Ortona) are considered as only coordinated system, to develop according to lines guide municipalities.

The harbour agency has explained that "the Plan structure on four lines is guided main: development of harbour infrastructures and the retroportuali connections, sustainability, technological innovation and, last, but more important, the governance".

In particular, "the development of infrastructures regards in particular the issue of the dredgings and the connections to the transport nets, absolute priorities in order to pick the opportunities of increase of the traffics. In order to reach such objective - the AdSP has explained - particular emphasis is given to the institutional team play, key factor in order to assure that the complex decisional process more and more is oriented to the tempistiche today demanded from a strongly competitive market. The institutional cooperation is extended to the logistic systems of the Italy center, included the tirrenici ports, in the optical to pick the intra-Mediterranean flows of traffic that cross the Country".

Moreover, "technological innovation and environmental and social sustainability are inserted as a priority horizontal of all the harbour system: the info-structuring of the ports of call is finalized to improve the quality of the services for goods and passengers, while the environmental sustainability is considered factor of competition of the contemporary ports, also in coherence with the national and communitarian normative evolutions that will introduce within the 2020 more restrictive norms for the marine and harbour field. Analogous, the dialogue port-city is promoted in order to favor the opening of the ports of call towards the local community, to promote the acquaintance of the role of the ports in the well-being of the territory of reference and to share the choices of development and the engagement for the protection of the atmosphere".

"The approved of Triennial Operations plan from the Committee of management - it has specified the president of the AdSP, Rodolfo Giampieri - second defines the development of the ports of the central Adriatic contemporary and strongly adherent priorities to the stimuli of the operators of the ports of call. The strong attention on the governance, the sustainability and the technological innovation is not only coherent choices with National the Strategic Plan of the Portualità and the Logistics and with the law of reform of the Italian harbour system, but also I yield of the experience of these five months of job. In these three years we intend to recover and to develop the potential one of the ports of the Adriatic Mean, above all of those plagued from too much time from the problems of the dredgings. Atmosphere, dialogue port-city and technological innovation are the instruments in order to accompany the development of infrastructures of the ports in a cohesion optical with the territory, being favored the competitiveness of the enterprises and the increase of the places of work".
