The port of Genoa has established the own new record of traffic of the container for the November month



Last November the port of Genoa has enlivened beyond 4,6 million tons of goods, with an increment of +9.2% on November 2016. Traffic of goods several is piled to 3,0 million tons (+14.5%), of which 2,2 million tons of goods containerized (+19.5%) totaled with handling of containers pairs to 226.605 teu (+19.6%) - given of the containerized trade that relatively represents the new record of the genoese port of call to the November month - and 836 thousand conventional tons of goods (+3.1%).

In the field of the liquid bulk, the mineral oils have attested almost 1,2 million tons (+2.7%), chemicals to 51 thousand the tons (+34.0%) and the oils vegetables and the wine to 28 thousand tons (- 9.7%). The traffic of the solid bulk enlivened in the commercial field of the port has grown of +108.2% to 54 thousand tons, while that enlivened in the industrial section is dropped of the -21,4% to 211 thousand tons. Decreasing also the supplies of bunkers and supplies of edge that have been pairs to 75 thousand tons (- 9.3%).

To November 2017 the passengers have been 128 thousand (- 15.1%), of which 73 thousand crocieristi (- fleeting 26.3%) and 55 thousand of ferries (+5.9%).

In the first ten months last year the port has enlivened a total of 50,7 million tons of cargos, with a progression of +9.1% on the correspondent period of 2016. In the segment of the goods several the traffic has been of 32,8 million tons (+13.1%), of which 23,8 million tons of goods in container (+16.2%) pairs to 2.413.269 teu (+14.8% realized with a handling of containers) and 9,0 million conventional tons of goods (+5.8%).

The volume of traffic of mineral oils has attested to 13,2 million tons (+4.9%) and that of the other liquid bulk to 675 thousand tons (- 0.4%), of which 466 thousand tons of chemicals (to +3.8%) and 209 thousand tons of oils vegetables and wine (- 8.6%). The bulk sand banks in the commercial field has been 574 thousand tons (+3.1%) and in that manufacturer 2,6 million tons (- 8.6%). Bunkeraggio and supplies of edge have totaled 913 thousand tons (+3.9%).

In the first ten months of the 2017 traffic of the passengers it is diminished of -3,7% to the 2,9 million one unit, of which 875 thousand crocieristi (- 10.4%) and 2,0 million passengers of the ferries (- 0.4%).
