In the 2017 traffic of the goods enlivened from the harbour system of the Southern Adriatic it is diminished of -2,3%



Last year the administered harbour system from the Authority of Harbour System of Mare Adriatico Meridionale, that it is constituted by the ports of call of Bari, Brindisi, Manfredonia, Barletta and Monopolies, has enlivened a traffic of 16,9 million tons of goods, with a decrease of -2,3% regarding the 17,3 million one tons in 2016. The goods to the disembarkation is piled to 11,9 million tons (- 3.9%) and those to the boarding almost 5,0 million tons (+1.6%).

Altogether the traffic of the goods several has been pairs to beyond 7,6 million tons (+9.9%), of which 1,3 million tons of containerized cargos (+4.9%) - comprised the container ro-ro - (handling of the containers has been pairs to 69.801 teu, -5,0%, of which 57,031 full loads, -6,3%, and empty 11,664, +8.8%), 6,0 million tons of rotabili (+8.4%) - excluded container - and 326 thousand several tons of other goods (+99.3%).

In the field of the bulk sand banks the total has been of 6,2 million tons (- 12.8%), of which 2,8 million tons of carbons (- 17.7%), 2,1 million tons of cereals (- 8.5%), 485 thousand tons of minerals, concretes and soccers (- 17.2%), 426 thousand tons of chemicals (- 9.6%), 257 thousand tons of commodities feed them and feeds (+26.4%), 21 thousand tons of producing metalworkers (- to 57.0%) and 54 thousand tons of other solid bulk (+52.0%).

The traffic of the liquid bulk has been attested 3,0 million to tons (- 5.4%), of which 1,7 million refined producing tons of oil (- 1.6%), 726 thousand oil tons of producing gaseous, which liquified or compressed and natural gas (- 10.3%), 20 thousand chemicals tons of (- 18.4%) and 585 thousand tons of other liquid bulk (- 9.1%).

In the 2017 in the section of the passengers traffic it has been of 2,2 million people (+7.9%), of which 1,7 passengers of ferries (+3.7%) and 507 thousand crocieristi (+24.9%), of which 320 thousand in transit (+7.8%) and 187 thousand to the disembarkation and boarding (+71.3%).

Almost the totality of the traffic of the goods is journeyed in the ports of Brindisi and Bari, than together they have enlivened 15,2 million tons (- 3.4%).

In 2017 in the single harbour port of call of Brindisi tons (- 5.8%), of which 7,0 million tons to the disembarkation (- 6.8% are enlivened 9,5 million) and 2,5 million tons to boarding (- 2.9%). Totally goods several are piled to 3,6 million tons (+9.1%), of which 613 thousand tons in container (+14.5%) - included the container on the rotabili - (handling lo-lo of the containers has been pairs to 1.106 teu, -40,4%), 2,8 million tons of cargos ro-ro (+3.3%) - volume that it does not include the container - and 221 thousand several tons of other goods (+162.9%). Down the bulk traffics, with those liquid that have totaled 2,4 million tons (- 7.6%) and those solid 3,4 million tons (- 16.8%). In the segment of the passengers, the traffic in the section of the ferries has been of 492 thousand people (- 7.7%) and in that of the cruises of 109 thousand people (+1,968, 5%), of which 23 thousand in transit (+326,171, 4%) and 86 thousand to the disembarkation/boarding (+1,537, 3%).

Last year the single port of Bari has enlivened almost 5,7 million tons of goods, with a progression of +0.9% regarding 5,6 million tons in 2016, of which 3,6 million tons of cargos to disembarkation (+0.9%) and 2,0 million tons of cargos to boarding (+1.0%). In the field of the goods several the total has been of 3,9 million tons (+10.0%), of which 730 thousand containerized tons of goods (- 2.0%) - comprised the container on rotabili - (handling of the container has been pairs to 68.695 teu, -4,0%, of which 57,031 full loads, -6,3%, and empty 11,664, +8.8%), 3,2 million tons of goods ro-ro (+13.4%) - excluded containerized cargos - and 27 thousand several tons of other goods (- 8.1%). The traffic of the bulk sand banks enlivened from from Bari port of call is diminished of the -14,9% to 1 7 million tons. As for the passengers, in the section of the ferries the traffic has been of 1,2 million people (+9.1%) and in that of the cruises of 398 thousand people (- 0.8%), of which 233 thousand in transit (- 20.0%) and 164 thousand to the disembarkation/boarding (+50.4%).
