Alarm of Assoporti for a possible procedure of infraction EU on the applicabilità of the fiscal taxation on entrances of the AdSP



An assumed procedure of infraction of the EU commission in confronts of the Italian ports in topic of applicabilità of the fiscal taxation on the entrances (canons of concession and authorization to the harbour exercise of enterprise) of the Authorities of Harbour System has placed in alarm the Association of the Italian Ports (Assoporti).

Specifying that the Concorrenza Head office of the EU commission would have started the procedure considering the behavior of the ports as an aid of State, therefore a behavior of treacherous competition regarding other ports inside of the Union, the president of Assoporti has rejected such appraisal: "we cannot accept - Zeno has explained D' Augustin - the second interpretation which the activities carried out from the Authorities of Harbour System in collecting concessori canons is from considering economic activity subject to fiscal imposition".

"To consider the activity of collection carried out from our Authorities on a level of the economic activities of a by right private enterprise - it has emphasized Of Augustin - it is a serious interpretative error. Among other things, besides being a nonsense regarding the functions of regulation and vigilance in head to the same ones, being these last ones clearly of public nature, draft of a measure of coordination of politics of the transports. Moreover, such imposition would force the Authorities of Harbour System to apply higher concessori canons and authorizing to you, to discapito of the enterprises that work in the ports. It is risked to put in knee all our ports".

Of Augustin it has announced that Assoporti will put to job on the event all the resources on hand of the association "in order to offer every useful contribution to the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports in this difficult one left".
