In June 2023, for the eleventh consecutive month, traffic
of the containers enlivened from the port of Los Angeles marked a
bending having been pairs to 833 thousand teu, volume that if
represents a reduction of -5.0% on June 2022 is
however, the third largest quantity of containers handled
from the Californian port of call in June being
lower only to the data of 877 thousand teu of June 2022 and to that of
876 thousand teu of June 2021. Last month the containers full
landed in port are piled to 435 thousand teu (- 2.1%), the container
full embarked to 108 thousand teu (+15.1%) and empty container to 290 thousand
TEU (-14.3%).
In the first half of 2023, total traffic is
State of 4,14 million TEU, with a decrease of the -23,6% on the first
semester last year, of which 2,13 million teu full to the
disembarkation (- 22.5%), 581 thousand teu full boarding (- 7.2%) and 1.43
millions of empty teu (-30.1%).
In the second quarter of this year alone, traffic increased
attested to 2.30 million teu, with a decrease of -15.8% on the
period April-june of 2022, of which 1,12 million teu plans
to the disembarkation (- 15.2%), 298 thousand teu full to boarding (- 6.7%) and
814 thousand teu empty (- 19.5%).
