
French shipowner group CMA CGM to acquire 35%
of the capital of the Egyptian company October Dry Port (ODP), a company
which manages a dry port in the industrial and logistics area in the
near Cairo and which is currently 70% owned by the
Egyptian electricity company Elsewedy Electric, 20% owned by
SLP for Logistic Properties and 10% by Schenker Egypt. The agreement of

Christine Cabao, executive vice president of CMA CGM.
The dry port has a traffic capacity
containerized equal to 450 thousand TEUs per year.
