The American Leonardo DRS, Inc., a subsidiary of the Italian Leonardo today announced the opening of a new plant for the production and testing of power and propulsion systems naval expedition near Charleston, South Carolina. The structure, of over 13,000 square meters, was built with the aim of to expand national production capacity to support U.S. Navy submarine and ship construction programs. Over electric propulsion and power generation systems, The plant was built to support the Design, manufacture and testing of turbine systems naval vehicles.
