
Yesterday the Management Committee of the System Authority
Port of the Sea of Sardinia has approved the Operational Plan
Three-year period 2026-2028 which, with regard to the port of Cagliari, provides for
the completion of the new ro-ro terminal, the construction of the
road connection with the SS 195,
the infrastructure of the bulk terminal and the development of the
shipbuilding district, in addition to the progressive
redevelopment of the historic port in a tourist key and
cruise industry. For the port of Olbia, the focus is on dredging and
upgrading of the cruise quay to increase the
receptive potential for ships over 300 meters in length
length, but also on a plan aimed at extending the
areas to be dedicated to pleasure boating and shipbuilding. To Porto
Torres, once the Antemurale is completed, the plan includes
the adaptation of the seabed and expansion of the operational areas and
with the completion of the second lot of the Darsena
Services and the creation of the logistics plate in the former basin
Eni dry dock. To Arbatax, Golfo Aranci and Santa Teresa Gallura
The interventions will concern the redevelopment of the
existing infrastructures and the enhancement of services. Detail
attention is paid to industrial and
specialists: dredging interventions are planned in Portovesme
and stormwater management to improve the separation of
trafficking; in Oristano infrastructural maintenance works and the
development of the energy hub linked to LNG. In Sarroch - Porto Foxi is
the construction of a new service dock for the
tugboats.
