
In the first three months of 2026, the revenues of the Norwegian MPC
Container Ships amounted to $118.9 million, with a
decrease of -6.4% compared to the first quarter of 2025 when the

was 59 container ships for a hold capacity of
141 thousand TEUs compared to 51 container carriers for a capacity
of 129 thousand TEUs as of March 31, 2026. The value of the operating margin
gross quarterly amounted to €68.0 million (-12.6%) and
that of operating profit at €45.4 million (-28.8%). MPCC has closed
the first quarter of this year with a net profit of 40.8 million
dollars (-31.8%).
MPCC Chief Executive Officer Constantin Baack
highlighted that the market in which the company operates continues to
offer positive prospects despite the fact that the current one is one of the
'most turbulent operating environments in recent years':
"in the segments in which MPCC operates," he explained, "we continue to
limited availability of modern feeder vessels
and an order book concentrated on larger ships,
which is the basis of a favourable balance between demand and
offer".
