
Last April, the port of Ravenna handled 2.56 million
of tons of goods, with an increase of +21.4% over April
2025 which was generated by the growth in volumes of
loads in all sectors except products
which, with 250 thousand tons, recorded a drop of
-18,2%. Other liquid bulk cargo totaled 154 thousand
tons (+25.6%) and dry bulk 1.09 million tons
(+24,2%). In the miscellaneous goods sector, the following were handled:
232 thousand tons of containerized cargo (+13.7%), 130 thousand
tons of rolling stock (+5.7%) and 697 thousand tons of other goods
(+48,2%).
In the first four months of 2026, the port of Ravenna
handled a total of 9.27 million tons of goods, with a
An increase of +5.8% compared to the first four months of last year. The
largest share of traffic, that of bulk
solid, marked a growth of +5.1% to 9.03
million tons. In the liquid bulk segment,
1.34 million tons of petroleum products handled
(+37.1%) and 517 thousand tons of other cargo (-15.8%). Goods in
amounted to 831 thousand tons (+4.4%) and were

(+3,9%). Rolling stock amounted to 549 thousand tons (+7.3%) and
other miscellaneous goods to 2.00 million tons (-1.3%).
The Port System Authority of the Central Adriatic Sea
Settentrionale announced that the preliminary balance sheet of the
traffic handled in May 2026 is approximately 2.4 million
tons, up +2.5% on May 2025.
