The Arcese, Conti and Cosulich families have announced the
strengthening their collaboration in the world of Finished
Vehicle Logistics (FVL) through an operational reorganization
which led to the foundation of GTA, an operational reality
dedicated to the development of a national logistics system
port of finished vehicles. The families specified that GTA,
which aims to position itself as a national player in the
port logistics FVL, will become the tool through the
which to consolidate the investments initiated by the XCA of families
Conti and Arcese on Il Faldo and the port of Livorno and is preparing to
incorporate Vehicle Logistic Vado (VLV), the joint venture established
in 2024 by the Fratelli Cosulich group and XCA in the port of Vado Ligure
(

April 2024).
Vado Ligure, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Gioia Tauro and Ravenna are
the main entry platforms that GTA and its shareholders
intend to propose to manufacturers with particular attention to the
Chinese and Asian brands that are redesigning their flows
to Europe.
"The birth of GTA - explained Marco Donati, director
COSCOS, a joint venture between Fratelli Cosulich and the
COSCO Shipping - represents a step
important in the growth path started with Il Faldo and with the
strengthening of the XCA network. The market is changing rapidly:
Asian manufacturers demand integrated, flexible and
reliable, capable of accompanying every vehicle from the port to the
distribution network. Our goal is to offer a
national platform that combines port, compound, rail and
final distribution in a single operational vision".
