There are four subjects prequalificated in the within of the contest for the concession of the terminal for goods various and bulk and of the container terminal of the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk. It is the Dutch APM Terminals of the Danish shipowning group Maersk, of the consortium constituted by the Maltese Mariner and the Ukrainian TAS, the Turkish Yilport Holding and the consortium constituted from the emiratense Abu Dhabi Ports Co. (AD Ports) and the British SKF Holdings UK. It was announced yesterday at the "Ukraine Recovery Conference" in Gdansk the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister for Community and Territorial Development, Oleksii Kuleba, specifying that the four candidates were admitted to the next stage of the competitive procedure.

"For the first time during the war - it has emphasized Kuleba - we are creating a project of public-private strategic partnership on a large scale. And also in these conditions, we find a high interest on the part of international and Ukrainian companies. Among the companies participating in the race are some of the major harbour operators in the world. This is a clear signal that enterprises are ready to invest in Ukraine when they find clear rules, high-quality projects and a real partnership with the State".

Kuleba has evidenced that it is potentially the biggest investment in the history of the Ukrainian ports, with the ability to attract hundreds of millions of dollars of investments and to generate over 1.1 billion dollars of revenue for the State and the local authorities.
