"We are determined to bet more significantly in the port of Catania, implementing the offer and the activities that we already carry out". It has asserted, on occasion of a visit near the Catanian center of the Harbour System Authority of the Sea of Eastern Sicily, Eugenio Grimaldi, executive manager of the Grimaldi group as well as responsible of the lines that connect Sicily to continental Italy and of the lines of national cabotage, and moreover council of the Agency Grimaldi Catania and the Grimaldi Marangolo Terminal. "This port of call - it has explained - for us it is fundamental in the basin of the Mediterranean Sea and we intend to collaborate effectively with the AdSP in order to increase our services and make even more efficient the already existing ones, trusting on the possibility to see implemented the plans of development in course".

Illustrating the outcome of the meeting, the president of the Authority of Harbour System, Francesco Di Sarcina, has evidenced that it is "a meeting, particularly appreciated, in which we confronted on the development of the port that counts on the presence of this company leader in the field and during which we talked about sustainability, prospects of growth and above all integrated logistics in view of the numerous design work in progress that affect the future of the port of Catania; in this sense - it has added Sarcina - I have also made treasure of the precious suggestions that Dr. Grimaldi, as an operator of great experience, wanted to give to the Adsp in order to offer to the companies present in our infrastructure services and activities increasingly international level".
