
In the second quarter of this year, the cruise group
U.S.-based Viking Holdings reported record revenues of 2.19
billion, with an increase of +16.5% on the corresponding
2025, of which 2.03 billion generated by the sale of
cruises (+15.8%) and 158.0 million from sales on board ships
(+26,2%). The group's fleet of ocean-going cruise ships has
contributed $885.3 million to quarterly revenue

(+24.2%), while the contribution of the fleet of river cruise ships
was 1.13 billion (+10.6%). Operating costs are
amounted to €1.19 billion (+16.9%), EBITDA to €773.8 million
(+34.9%), operating profit of €643.9 million (+18.0%) and net profit
to $587.7 million (+33.8%).
In the period April-June of this year, the Viking fleet
it hosted a total of 250 thousand passengers (+11.3%). In the
quarter: the occupancy rate of ships fell to 94.4%
compared to 95.6% in the second quarter of 2025, also in
consideration of the increase in fleet size (from 90 to 99
ships).
The American group announced that as of 9 August, its
core products - Viking River, Viking Ocean, Viking Expedition and
Viking Mississippi - they had already sold 96% of the
capacity available for the 2026 season and 53% of the
