German intermodal operator Kombiverkehr has acquired the entire share capital of the Spanish Combiberia, of which in particular previously held 14%, taking over the shares from the other 20 shareholders in the context of a capital reduction. The initiative is aimed at strengthening the German company's presence on the market Spanish, with respect to which it intends to launch new connections including a Neuss-Barcelona service that will be inaugurated on 5 October.
