Yesterday out of the port of Bremerhaven, under conditions of bad weather, the ship from cruise Mein Schiff 3 has bumped two portacontainer causing damage to the three units and forcing the company TUI Cruises to cancel the cruise. The incident follows a few days the collision of a car carrier against a concrete wall of the northern closed Bremerhaven. Both events occurred despite the cruise ship and the car carrier were assisted by trailers.

In the accident yesterday, which did not cause injury, the Mein Schiff 3 and the largest of the two container carriers suffered significant damage. The police of Bremen announced that a side of the connector door was torn for several meters above the floating line. The cruise ship, which was headed towards the Canary Islands, returned to the Columbuskaje dock with damage to the lifeboats and the outer range.
