LOWER COSTS, HIGHER PRICES IN INLAND SHIPPING

European inland shipping has seen its costs fall again in the first half of this year but was able to raise prices.
Costs at 1 July were approximately 2 percent lower than at 1 January. This emerges from the periodic soundings carried out by the NEA research institute in Rijswijk, the Netherlands.
