The Indian Merchant Fleet has declined to 476 ships aggregating 6.89m grt (11.29m dwt) as on July 1 this year, compared with 484 vessels totalling 7.05m grt (11.52m dwt) at the beginning of the year, according to the Indian National Shipowners Association.
