DEAL REACHED ON JAPAN'S PORT PRACTICES

[TOKYO] Japanese and foreign shipping companies, stevedores and others have reached an interim agreement on Japan's port practices aimed at heading off US sanctions scheduled to be imposed on April 14.

Japan's transport ministry is expected to call on the US to hold bilateral talks, during which it would present the interim agreement.
