Eurotunnel said it carried 2.4 per cent fewer tourist vehicles through the Channel Tunnel in September, capping a summer season that has seen its year-on-year traffic decline for four straight months.

The tunnel linking France and Britain carried 219,346 cars, motorcycles, vans and coaches in the month, down from 224,759 in the same month a year ago. ......
