New Angolan port rules place heavier burden on shipping lines Receivers relieved of the cost of retrieving containers

THERE IS a big argument going on in Angola, as a recent government gazette in the country imposes extra costs on shipping lines. The lines have retaliated by imposing a US$160/TEU (twenty foot equivalent unit) surcharge effective since June 1.
