KLM says bug may ground flights

KLM, the Dutch airline, said on Friday it might have to ground part of its fleet on New Year's eve 1999 because some airports and air traffic control systems had failed to deal with millennium computer bug problems.
KLM said it was ready to fly on January 1 2000 but too many countries were failing to take adequate steps to ensure their systems were ready. ...... Read more on Financial Times
