Container freight charges on Asia-North America routes will continue to soar next year due to an expected rise in cargo volume, industry sources said yesterday.

Outbound shipping companies on Asia-North America lines have decided to raise the charges for one 40-foot container by another $900 from May next year, according to the Korea International Trade ......
