BORDEAUX Port, France introduced a second feeder service to the UK after 1997 figures showed that 25 per cent of Bordeaux's throughput was travelling either to or from Britain.

Portlink/CGM has operated a feeder service for two years connecting Bordeaux and Felixstowe from the Bassens terminal. This has now been upgraded to a twice-weekly service.
