A NEW container terminal will be developed at Pipavav Port in Gujarat, India. Currently, the port specialises in handling bulk liquids, coal and gas and breakbulk cargo

Once fully operational, the new container terminal is expected to have an annual capacity of 600,000 TEUs per annum. The port boasts of a 1,200 metre quay and over 400 hectares of land available for development.
