HK to pip S'pore as busiest port in 1997

[SINGAPORE]
With a throughput of 14.5 million TEUs last year, Hongkong may be breaking out the champagne once again as it pips Singapore as the world's busiest port.
But, it is bracing for tougher times ahead, forecasting a modest 7.5 per cent growth this year.
