Greek shipowners switching to flags of convenience

Greek shipowners are increasingly lowering the blue and white striped ensign of their country and hoisting the cheaper flags of convenience.
Each month five or six vessels from the world's largest single merchant fleet swap their Greek flags for Liberian, Panamanian, Maltese, or Cypriot ones -- the most popular flags of convenience.
