Vlissingen (Flushing) with Belgians in container terminal

Zeeland Seaports and Hessenatie will jointly invest in a container terminal. As of 2001 they will make available NLG 1.2 billion ($ 600 million) for the project. They call their project Westerschelde Container Terminal, a facility with a total sea-fronting length of 2.6 kilometers, an area of 150 hectares, and a capacity of 1.5 million containers per annum. ......
